John-Paul is the principal of our firm. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1997 and completed his articles of clerkship with Butler McDermott and Egan on the Sunshine Coast.

John-Paul was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in 1999. John-Paul is also a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia. He is a certified mediator and has received a Masters of Law degree from the Queensland University of Technology.

Apart from managing the larger aspects of the firm’s operations, John-Paul involves himself with all matters surrounding the Australian court systems. He specializes in family law, civil litigation, crime and traffic offences.

He practices daily in all jurisdictions including the local Magistrates Courts, the Family Court, the Federal Magistrates Court and the Supreme and District Courts of Queensland.

John-Paul’s interests revolve around his young family.

Craig Lindley was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queenland on 13 September 2004. He graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2003 with a degree in Law, having previously undertaken a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Sociology. In early 2004 Craig completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology.

Craig worked for several years after admission in the regional centre of Gladstone with one of Central Queensland's largest and busiest practices where he practiced predominantly in the areas of Commercial and Business Law and Property Law , but was also exposed to Family Law matters and Estate matters. Craig was also appointed the supervising solicitor of one of Queensland's busiest conveyancing practices. In late 2007 Craig left Gladstone to further develop his skills in the areas of Commercial and Business Law and Property Law with a nationally recognised mid-tier firm, working for some of Australia's largest property developers and commercial clients on several significant projects.

Craig's core areas of practice are within the Commercial and Property Law fields, whilst maintaining a breadth of knowledge in complimentary areas of legal practice such as Estate Planning and Industrial Relations. 

Craig is an avid traveller, movie buff and sports fanatic who passionately follows rugby union and ice hockey (having been raised in Canada).


Avril Donelly

Avril Donelly was admitted as solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland on 13 December 2007.  She graduated from The University of Queensland in 2006, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the Queensland University of Technology in 2007. Avril  is also admitted as a solicitor to the High Court of Australia.

Avril was an Associate to two District Court judges before working in the criminal law jurisdiction.  She then changed her career focus to practise in the area of family law. Avril is a regular volunteer at the Women's Legal Service, and has a particular interest in parenting matters.

Avril's hobbies include studying French language & culture, and watching as many French films as possible.
